September 2010 : The remastering-project 'GRAUZONE 1980-1982 REMASTERED' is in the final phase. After digitization and restoration of the original analog recordings, we are at completing the remastering as the layout of the digipak and booklet. The 2CD comprises up to 'Schlachtet!', which is desired by Martin Eicher not included, all of GRAUZONE published tracks in unabridged length, as well as two previously unreleased pieces. The 2CD will be published in a tri-fold digipak sleeve plus a 24-page booklet late November / early December 2010. May 2010 : Swiss Radio DRS3 has compiled for this year 2010 the stories behind '200 successful and beautiful Swiss songs'. Every week, they presented five songs about a specific topic. Questions about the individual songs are answered by the artists of the 200 most influential Swiss songs in the series 'DRS3 Swiss pop history! 200 songs - 200 stories'. During the week of 10 to 15 May the song automaten by mittageisen is one of five songs representing the 80's. You can find the result under the appropriate web-page. February 2010 : We're proud to announce the new 2CD 'GRAUZONE 1980-1982 REMASTERED'. The 2CD set will contain about 20 digitally remastered published (Eisbär, Film 2, Träume Mit Mir, Ich Und Du, Wütendes Glas, Moskau, Ein Tanz Mit Dem Tod, Ich Lieb Sie, ...) as unpublished songs of GRAUZONE in a tri-fold digipak sleeve plus a comprehensive booklet. The release is planned for the 4th quarter 2010. January 2009 : Bruno W, mastermind of the legendary Swiss DarkWave band mittageisen and producer of the first Swiss Punk LP (CRAZY), was guest in the show Gaffa of radio 3FACH with music and reminiscences from the 80's. December 2008 : In case of its 10 year anniversary Radio 3FACH looked for the 100 best 'Swiss Kick Ass' songs, which should not be missed in any record collection. The 'mittageisen' song 'automaten' was played with other 20 titles in the final show on the 22th December 2008. December 2008 : Release of the new double-CD mittageisen 1981-1986 remastered! First reviews and a 90 minutes mittageisen-special on the electronic underground radio-show Linearnetrik at radio-recoder.de. October 2008 : The production of the new double-CD MITTAGEISEN 1981-1986 (REMASTERED) is in the final-stage. The two CDs contains 19 remastered songs, 6 of them previously unreleased. The 2CD will be released in a fold-out digipak sleeve plus a 24-pages booklet in a limited first edition of 500 pieces. The 2CD will be available a.o. at indie-music.ch June 2008 : Thanks YouTube (with DSL please choose under the video-picture 'watch in high quality') it's possible now to watch the original music-video 'automaten', produced in 1995 together with the compilation-CD of mittageisen. The pre-electronic-piece 'automaten' became, after the release in 1985, an indie-disco hit. January 2007 : Start of the project 'mittageisen remastered'. A compilation with 16 songs from artists like Yello, Kleenex, Grauzone, Liliput, Stephan Eicher, The Vyllies, Blue China and other artists. March 1999 : At the beginning of this month was the official release of a new CD-compilation called Swiss Kult-Hits Vol.1 : 1970-1996. A compilation with 16 songs from artists like Touch El Arab, Young Gods, Grauzone, Stephan Eicher, ... and mittageisen with their song automaten! January 1999 : Some reviews of the recently published mittageisen v2 CD geld-arbeit are available online in german, english and italian. December 1998 : We're happy to announce for January 1999 a new EP: mittageisen v2 : geld - arbeit ! This is the second CD of mittageisen v2 with new remixed and editied versions of the songs 'geld' and 'arbeit', invl. 3 new 'currencies' remixed by Marco Repetto! This is the result of a collaboration of two 'old' colleagues (ex-mittageisen / ex-Grauzone, and together the fanzine 'Sondernummer') from the early 1980es! April 1998 : mital-U presents the first mittageisen v2 single geld - arbeit / money - work with two new songs available only on this CD! |
